Got the boyz a new trough. Theo was disappointed that it wasn't so much an all you can eat buffet, or hardly a buffet at all since the food in all three dishes was the same. That didn't stop him from trying to sample from all three dishes.
It's gotten extremely cold out the last few days. We're being warned about dangerous wind chills. Theo figures if we have to live in this cold weather we might as well move our house to the north pole so it's easier for Santa to visit us anytime of the year.
I bought an electric guitar. The only one brave enough to attend my first practice session was Diego-san. His reaction was hilarious. He couldn't decide whether he was more curious or scared at this new sound. He slowly approached the amplifier, then would back away, ears turned up the entire time. I think he thought the sound was of a cat being tortured and I think he was hoping it was one of his brothers (not to name names). Let's just say the sound was definitely not very Claptonesque.
Diego-san decided to show his courage and stare down the dreaded vacuum cleaner (or thing that sucks). His bravery had its limits though as I got too close he leaped up to higher places. I just fear he will use his courage to take action against his enemy when it is not in use...
A day after my birthday I tweaked my back and as a result was moving around like an old(er) man. Whenever I went to lie down, I let out groans and moans. This new behavior got Theo's attention. I think he thinks the old fellow has finally lost it.
I asked Diego-san what message he wished to convey to all his admirers. He told me to tell everyone that if you work as hard as he does someday you might be just as cool too. Then you can kick back and relax.
I scolded Diego-san for trying to sit on my lap when I was trying to practice my guitar. He spent the next few minutes giving me the old skunk eye and the rest of the evening sulking and doing his best to ignore me.
