The boyz seem to appreciate when I open up the wallet a bit and turn on the air conditioner when the house feels like its a zillion degrees. But that means the windows get closed (we are not going to air condition the world). When the windows are reopened, the boyz tend to line up as if the windows have been closed for a zillion years and they better appreciate the fresh air before I'm mean again and close access once more...

Grass is Always Greener
The boyz seem to appreciate when I open up the wallet a bit and turn on the air conditioner when the house feels like its a zillion degrees. But that means the windows get closed (we are not going to air condition the world). When the windows are reopened, the boyz tend to line up as if the windows have been closed for a zillion years and they better appreciate the fresh air before I'm mean again and close access once more...

Wow do we share the same thoughts today or what?!! Same deal with the window...Summer is so short & sweet we all (people & cats) prefer them open. (I think most Minnesotans do.) But days like these, I get physically sick from the heat & on goes he air. As much as they like the windows open, the kitties appreciate it. They make themselves sooo flat when its hot out! No damage here from the storm. Lost a couple tree limbs in the huge wind last week though.
Well, the air is always better on the other side of the window.
We get tired of the A/C always blowing, blowing, blowing on us (and we only keep the temp at 79 degrees!).
We are exactly the same!! When the a/c gets turned on, mom always warns us that the windows will be closed. That's the trade off to be cool.
