Went to the Twins exciting 5-2 win over the Red Sox. The first nine innings were a masterful pitching dual between Curt Schilling and Johann Santana. Santana was unbelievably dominant- striking out 13 Red Sox and leaving many of their hitters walking back to the dugout shaking their heads.The Red Sox took a 2-1 lead in the 11th inning and then the Twins loaded the bases in the bottom of the 11th. Jason Kubel hit a high fly ball that fell just over the baggie in right. Twins win Twins win!
I still love baseball just like when I was a kid. Baseball, kitties, I'm so doggone all American.
